p. 9-10 On how field work was conducted. This is a little unclear to me. I would move the last sentence about the project managers up earlier in the paragraph, as you talk about their role in the field work before you introduce them. Also, please clarify if the project managers were from one of the academic institutions involved. Why were six interviewers recruited from the urban team? Did interviewers go in as pairs with the community guides for the interview or did the guides just introduce them in the household screening process and then step out during the interview. When you say that ‘at least one project manager was present on the field’ what does this mean? That they were driving around to the interviews or on call where they could be easily reached. Were children and adults interviewed together or was it sequential and was the guardian present when the child was interviewed? Also, was part of the methodology from the outset to get community buy-in through local leaders/authorities to pave the way, or did this come later and the original plan was just to approach households?
